Day 1.- June 27th
Departure from JFK Intl Airport in New York via overnight flight Tel Aviv, Israel.
Dinner served aboard the flight.
Day 2.- June 28th
Arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport, Tel Aviv Israel, proceed
through Immigration and transfer by deluxe motor coach to the hotel in Tel Aviv.
Balance of the day is at leisure for personal sightseeing, shopping and some rest. Dinner at hotel.
Day 3 – June 29th
In the morning, departure from Tel Aviv, travel to Yaffo, the old city where St. Peter opened up the
Church to the Gentiles. This is also the site where Jonah began his voyage. We'll See the old Roman Aqueduct, the impressive theatre and the harbor, on the way go to Caesarea Maritime, one of the
oldest dioceses in the Holy Land and place of the one the most important Christian libraries in the second
century.
On our journey to the north is Haifa the industrial city of Israel. We'll visit the cave where Elijah lived and prayed and the place where the Devotion of Our
Lady of Mount Carmel started.
Day 4.-June 30th
In the morning, after breakfast, we will visit the ruins of the City of Kfarnaum,
where a great part of Jesus' life took place. We'll walk to the Mount of Beatitudes
and proceed to Tabgha, the site where Jesus multiplied the
loaves and fishes. We will walk along the shores of the Sea of Galilee, visit the
Church of Primacy Thru the Lake of Tiberiades visiting Banias - the place of foundation of
Peter as chief of Church, Magdala, and birthplace of Mary Magdalene. In the evening, we will visit Yardenit
for our baptism renewal. Mass will be celebrated. Transfer to the hotel for diner and rest.
Day 5, July 1st
In the morning, after the breakfast, we leave the hotel to visit the cities of Nazareth, Cana, Sephoris and Megiddo.
In the Church of Cana, we will remember the first miracle of Jesus, with the conversion of the water into wine.
Married couples may renew their vows of marriage; this will be a great memory to cherish forever.
From Cana we will visit the city where Jesus spent His childhood and adolescence; the village of Mary and Joseph, and the city of Nazareth.
Our tours continues with a Visit to the Great Basilica of the Annunciation,
which is recognized as the biggest and grandiose basilica in the Middle East. We will will also visit Saint Joseph's workshop.
From Nazareth, we continue to Sephoris, which was the most important Roman city of Galilee before the
construction of Tiberiades; it is believed that Joseph, the husband of Mary, may have worked in the
reconstruction of the same as bricklayer and carpenter.
In afternoon, we will visit Megiddo, the city of Salomon, place where the final battle of the good
against evil was carried out, the Armageddon. Then we will visit the Cannaen Tower and the water tunnel.
Beth Shan, the capital city of the Decapolis and location that recalls Saul's death.
Return to the hotel for supper and rest.
JORDAN –LAND OF THE NABATEOS - MT. SINAI
Day 6- July 2nd
In the morning, after the breakfast, we leave Tiberiandes to Jordan. We will follow the Sheik
Hussein path crossing the border into Jordan.
Once we are done with the immigration procedures, we continue our way towards Jerash which is
one of oldest city of the Decapolis. Its ruins represent one of the most important Roman cities
and well preserved in the Far East, and are located in the region of Gilead, at the northwest
of Jordan. The Gospel tells us, that at this place, Jesus expelled demons out of a possessed person.
We continue our journey heading towards Mount Nebo, the place from where Moses was able to contemplate the
Promised Land and dies without entering it.
In the passage we will go through Madaba, where the Oldest Map of The Holy Land is conserved.
We arrive at Amman, the old Philadelphia, and rest for the night.
Day 7. July 3rd
After breakfast, we leave Amman to Petra crossing the desert of Jordan.
At our arrival, we will visit the Lost City of Petra, the Pink City, and The Capital City of the Nabateos.
We will go by the Mariba Fountain and go through the mysterious city where Saint Paul apparently
lived after his conversion. We spend the night in Petra.
Day 8, July 4th
Early in the morning we leave Petra towards of Aqaba which is a Jordanian sea port in the Red Sea.
We will sail and cross the Red Sea towards the peninsula of the Sinai in Egypt.
We'll arrive at the Monastery of Saint Catherine, the place that the Bible reminds us Moses had his
first encounter with the burning branch of unconsuming flames. Diner and Rest.
Day 9, July 5th
At dawn, we go up to the Mount Sinai to contemplate the rise of the sun and this at the very same place
where Moses contemplated the rising of the Sun when he received the Tablets of the Ten Commandments.
Our journey continues towards Taba, crossing the border to Israel and arriving at the seaport of Eilat
at the Red Sea. We will visit of the aquarium in this city, which is considered the greatest in the world.
Spend the night in Eilat.
Day 10, July 6th
In the morning, after the breakfast, we leave towards Masada, the Fortress of King Herod in the desert.
We will ascend and descend to the top of the mountain by cable track Ferry.
We will have the opportunity to bathe in the Dead Sea. On our way towards Jerusalem, we will visit Qumram;
where the Manuscripts of the Dead Sea Scrolls were found in 1947.
We continue our pilgrimage by visiting the community of Seine continuing towards Jerusalem.
Jerusalem
As soon as we arrive at Jerusalem, we will proceed to Mount Scopus, located in the high part of Mount Beatitude,
where we will enjoy a beautiful panoramic view including the Old Temple of Jerusalem and its walls.
Arrive to hotel for dinner and rest.
Day 11, July 7th
On this day, we will visit the Old City of Jerusalem, the Via Dolorosa,
the Church of Saint Ana, the Probate Swimming pool, the Holy Sepulcher, the Gethsemane Garden, the church of Dominus Flevit
and Mary’s Tomb.
In Mount of Sion we will go by the Cenacle, place where our tradition tell
us the Last Supper was served, and then we’ll go to King David’s Tomb.
Day 12, July 8th
We'll proceed to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity, where according to the tradition,
is located the cave that Joseph and Mary rested at when they arrived to Bethlehem for the census taking ordered by Cyrano
which is narrated by the Gospel of Saint Luke.
We will visit The Shepherds Field, place where the shepherds were sleeping the night when Jesus was born.
Return to the city of Jerusalem. Visit to the Wailing Wall and the Mosques.
Diner and rest in the hotel.
Day 13, July 9th
After breakfast we will go to Ain Karem, birthplace of John the Baptist, where according to tradition
Zachariah lived with his wife Elizabeth, the cousin of Mary, the mother of Jesus> It is written that
this is where Mary came to visit her cousin Elizabeth and where John The Baptist “The Precursor” was born.
Later in the day, we will visit Yad Vashem, the Memorial of the Holocaust.
Then will continue with a Panoramic View of the Israeli Parliament, the Menorah of the seven arms, which
is great symbol for the Jewish faith. Supper and rest
Day 14, July 10
Day at leisure to do some last minute shopping or take more pictures.
Day 15, July 11
In the morning, breakfast and we will leave in the direction to Tel Aviv to board the airplane that will
bring us back to the United States; proceed through immigration and security requirements and board our non Stop Flight to USA.
