Join us From May 23 to 31, 2011

Day 1 – Depart NY for overnight flight to Tel Aviv. Dinner served aboard the flight.

Day 2 – After enjoying the flight, arrived at Tel Aviv Airport in Israel where the group will be met by our tour guide. Travel to Yaffo, the old city where St. Peter opened up the Church to the Gentiles and the site where Jonah began his voyage. Dinner at Hotel.

Day 3 – On the way go to Caesarea Maritime, one of the oldest dioceses in the Holy Land and place of the one the most important Christian libraries in the second century. See the old Roman Aqueduct, the impressive theatre and the harbor. In the way to the north is Haifa the industrial city of Israel. Go into the cave where Elijah lived and prayed and the places were the Devotion of Our Lady of Mount Carmel started. Visit the city of Nazareth, where Jesus spent His infant and adolescent years. Enter the Basilica of The Annunciation and St. Joseph’s workshop. Visit the Church of Cana, the place where Jesus’ first miracle was witnessed , the Wedding at Cana

Day 4- We go to Galilee, visit the ruins of the city of Kfarnaum, where a great part of Jesus life took place. Walk in the ruins of Bethsaida, the birthplace of many of the apostles. Then, will visit Banias, which is the primacy Church of Peter. Walk the Mount of Beatitudes, the site of the Sermon on the Mount. From there will go to Tabgha, site where Jesus multiplied the loaves and fishes. Stroll along the shores of the Sea of Galilee.

Day 5 - 6- Travel to Jerusalem. - Visit in the New City of Jerusalem, The Yad Vashem Memorial to the Holocaust, – Continue to Ain Karem, and the birthplace of St. John the Baptist and the House of Elizabeth and Zachariah. – Spend time in the Old City of Jerusalem. Visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Walk the Via Dolorosa, the Ecce Homo, . We will see at the Mount of Olives, the Church of Dominus Flevit, the Tomb of Mary, the Blessed Mother, Month Scopus, Ascension Church, and the Our Father Church. In Mt. Sion, the Tomb of David, the Cenacle, the Dormition Abbey, Bethlehem, the Nativity Church, the Shepherds place, and more. See where Jesus lived and died.

Day 7.- Travel through the Judean Desert to Qumram, place of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Bathe in the Dead Sea.

Day 8– After breakfast, transfer to the Tel Aviv Airport. Departure from Israel back home. End of Pilgrimage
