Perched on the banks of the Potomac River, Washington was named after the President of the same name in 1791.
Over two centuries later, the historic city attracts tourists from all over the world as well as from within the
USA, and it regularly appears in the top 20 most visited destinations in the country.
The list of things to do in Washington, DC is as long as the river that flows through it. Sights We plan to visit depending on time restraints:
- The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception
- The Washington National Cathedral
- The Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in America
- Photo stop at the White House gates
- View of the exterior of the Capitol building
- National Mall: Washington Monument, Lincoln, Jefferson, Korean, Vietnam & World War I Memorials
- Arlington Cemetery tour

- 1 person per room: $325
- 2 people per room: $250 each
- 3 people per room: $200 each
- children, age up to 17: $140 each
